Montco Happening has announced that Katalinas Communications has once again won in the Public Relations category as part of its Montco Happening List for 2018. The results came on the heels of an extensive auditing process that took more than a month to complete.
The Greater Philadelphia area public relations and marketing company also won the top honor in 2016. This year the company received more votes than two other PR agencies in the online lifestyle magazine’s annual People’s Choice competition. As part of the contest, voters chose the best Montgomery County, Pennsylvania service providers, as well as people, events, places, beauty, wellness, food/drink, wedding and more for The Happening List.
The Happening List winners will receive their awards during a May 2 red carpet bash at Flourtown Country Club. Winners also remain listed on the Montco Happening Website for the entire year.
Katalinas Communications was nominated as one of the best public relations service providers at the start of the contest in January 2018. Six weeks of voting followed. Results were finalized for service providers on April 4. Click here to see the complete list of The Happening List winners.
About Katalinas Communications
The Montgomery County-based business is led by Theresa Katalinas, an ex-journalist who repurposed her news media experience to help clients generate local and regional publicity, build brand awareness, gain exposure for events and news and, ultimately, to have their unique stories told through top-notch writing, media relations, email marketing, social media and graphic design.
Katalinas Communications began in February 2014 with Theresa’s first client, Camp Rainbow Inc., a nonprofit summer camp which sought funds to cover expenses associated with that season’s camping season. Theresa created a media blitz, garnering attention from KYW Newsradio 1060, the Philadelphia Agenda radio program on WOGL 98.1, as well as coverage in various print and online publications.
With Camp Rainbow remaining as a client, Katalinas Communications has continued to expand exponentially, primarily through customer referrals. The company’s vast array of clients ranges from municipal government entities, including the Falls Township Board of Supervisors, Conshohocken Borough Authority and Morrisville Municipal Authority to nonprofit organizations, such as the Bucks County Wine Trail, the Diversified Real Estate Investor Group and SCORE Bucks County, as well as Philadelphia-area law firms and small businesses.
